I was born in Preston, Lancashire in 1983 and I have been fascinated by wildlife and the natural world from an early age. Inspired and encouraged by my father, I started drawing professionally in 2003. I graduated from Newcastle University with a Zoology degree in 2004 and in 2006 gained a Masters degree in Biodiveristy and Conservation at Leeds University. My passion for wildlife has taken me to California to work with exotic cats and recently Kenya for my studies. The photographs I take are used to produce my drawings and paintings and I hope to continue travelling and working with wildlife in the future.
